Mark Burgess
Hi, I’m Mark, I am an Existential Coach and have a PhD in Psychology.
Like many people who've started to question "is this it?" I’ve had moments – both big and subtle – that have brought the finite and precious nature of life into sharp focus. The big ones – like losing loved ones – cut straight to the core.

The subtle ones creep up unexpectedly, like when one of my oldest friends called to wish me a happy 55th birthday. We reminisced about the surprise party he threw for me at 30 and said it felt like yesterday. Then I said, “In that same amount of time again, we’ll be 80, or dead.” Silence. Then laughter. “Thanks for that, mate,” he said. But we both knew it was true. Life moves faster than we think. And moments like these, when we realise how quickly time is passing, can either keep us stuck or spur us into action.
I’ve spent years exploring human potential as a Psychology lecturer and researcher. But becoming a coach allows me to help people make real, practical changes immediately – not over years, but right now.
Being an existential coach doesn’t mean I’ve started wearing a black beret (it’s burgundy), smoking Gauloises, or shoving Albert Camus’s novels into my back pocket. But it has heightened my understanding that we are never a finished product and that we can develop deeper self-awareness and the courage to initiate change where it matters most.

Nicky Gibbs
Hi, I’m Nicky, Counsellor and Coach
With a BSc Honours in Addictions Counselling and specialised training in woman-centred transformational coaching, I am committed to helping people unlock their potential for growth and healing. My approach integrates trauma-informed counselling, coaching, and cutting-edge technology to create lasting, embodied transformation.

Through my own healing journey, I’ve experienced firsthand the profound shifts that occur when mind, body, and soul are in alignment. My personal transformation, combined with years of working with clients, has deepened my understanding of the unconscious patterns that keep us stuck and how to shift them through intentional, embodied action. Working holistically has also led me to incorporate the Theta Chamber into my practice, offering a unique way for clients to access deeper states of healing, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.

I specialise in helping women in recovery move beyond shame, self-doubt, and outdated narratives to reclaim their authentic power and purpose. My 3-month program, Breaking Barriers to Empowerment, takes a trauma-informed, woman-centered coaching approach to uncover unconscious patterns that keep them stuck. Through deep self-inquiry and embodied action, we create meaningful transformation, not just through new thinking, but by making real, lasting shifts. With personalised coaching and structured support, I help women to find their voice, rewrite their stories, embody their worth, and take inspired action toward the future they truly desire.

Alongside my individual and group coaching work with women in recovery, I co-lead Before It’s Too Late with Mark, a 7-week coaching experience designed for those who have a sense that time is slipping by and feel unfulfilled despite external success. Through small but intentional shifts, this program helps participants gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to what truly matters.

Whether you’re navigating recovery from addiction, burnout, trauma, or simply seeking greater clarity and purpose, I’m here to provide compassionate, expert guidance. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, blending deep self-inquiry, nervous system regulation, and transformational coaching to help you heal, grow, and thrive.
